The Queer Action Plan is DEECA’s first whole-of-department strategic framework dedicated to advancing LGBTIQA+ inclusion and workplace safety.

I was responsible for designing the strategy document, working with illustrations created by artist Lynn Bremner. I drew on elements from her work—such as speech bubbles and colour palettes—to establish a consistent visual language throughout the publication.

When laying out the content, I focused on clarity, legibility, and hierarchy to ensure the document was easy to navigate. A key priority was to hero the illustrations, as they were developed in collaboration with the community and carried deep meaning and intent.
