The Conservation Regulator team sought to expand their education efforts by creating engaging, accessible materials for younger audiences. I designed a series of double-sided activity sheets aimed at children.

To make the content approachable and memorable, I developed custom illustrations that balanced accuracy with playfulness. The characters and visuals were carefully tailored to resonate with kids, using bright colours, bold shapes, and simplified forms while still respecting the integrity of each species. The design process involved translating complex environmental and regulatory information into clear, age-appropriate messaging.

By considering the needs of the target audience, I created resources that both educate and inspire curiosity about conservation. These fact sheets have been used in schools and community programs, helping children understand their role in protecting Victoria’s natural environment.
